I finished these socks this morning and don't think there could be another pair like them anywhere. Well, that's because it appears something went wrong with the yarn but that's ok. They have their own personality and felt wonderful when I put them on. The yarn was Fortissima Colori 2425 and they were knit (if you care) on 2.5 mm wooden needles.

I love your socks! I think I have some Fortissima in the stash. Maybe it'll have to be moved up the list a bit...

LOL. I can't promise yours won't match and be just too boring.

Wow! I have socks with names. Very cool. This is much better than guys (maybe I've just seen this on tv) who name their trucks things like "Alice."

Thanks for coming to visit, and for the kind words. Think not that I am any more talented than you: I've seen your beautiful hat. You are pretty talented, yourself!

I hope to sell the Haley's Roses pattern, and donate the proceeds to neuroblastoma research. Watch my blog, or look for the pattern on AD days at the knitting groups.

No one in the whole world has socks as cool as those!

P.S. I need to know your favourite colours (oooh, two 'ou' words in a row!) - more brown/beige, or reds or pastel or what?

Those are some cool sox!!! You will have to alternate which foot gets the sunny stripe because I think it may affect your feet's mood.

Feet's mood. Feet's mood. Say that 10x fast.

ta.

I'm thinkin' you need to knit another pair of socks with this brand of wool and see if they also have a mind of their own.

Whatcha gonna knit next? An Easter hat would be amusing. You know - a nest on top with little knitted fluffy chicks and pastel eggs in it. I saw a fried egg purse once. Stunning.

Yarnharlot laments the problems of pooling, puddling and some other term which escapes me at the moment. It is a hazard of knitting with yarn that is "space dyed..." sometimes the width of the knitting and the lengths of colors conspire to do weird things.... I bet you'd love self-stripping and self-FairIsle yarns! Good work.
